Butch
A person who identifies themselves as masculine, whether it be physically, mentally or emotionally. ‘Butch’ is sometimes used as a derogatory term for lesbians, but it can also be claimed as an affirmative identity label.

A person who is said to take a more submissive role during sexual interactions.
Bi•sex•u•al
A person emotionally, physically, and/or sexually attracted to males/men and females/women. This attraction does not have to be equally split between genders and there may be a preference for one gender over others.

Prefixes
The words of the day were bicurious, bigendered, and biphobia and when I typed them into the computer they are labeled incorrect, why?
- These words aren't new.
- Bi- does mean two, as in they like males & females.
So why aren't they recognized as words? That just doesn't seem right does it? They should be treated as real words, equal to all the other words with that same prefix. Just as being a bisexual should be treated as a real orientation ESPECIALLY by other LGBT people with the same stamp of un-approval by society on their forehead.
Bi•pho•bi•a
The fear of, discrimination against, or hatred of bisexuals, which is often times related to the current binary standard. Biphobia can be seen within the LGBTQIA community, as well as in general society.
