Election Results

Elections are over and there were some big victories for the LGBT community. For those of you that decided to crawl under a rock the second you left the voting polls here's a run over of some significantly huge events that took place last night...

Washington voted to legalize same-sex marriage.
As did Maine.
And Maryland.
Minnesota rejected a gay marriage ban that would have changed the constitution.
America elected their first EVER lesbian senator! Congrats to Tammy Baldwin.
America reelected a president who made legalizing gay marriage part of his campaign.

Congrats to America for being more accepting of their fellow Americans than I thought they would be. I'm not gonna get my hopes up in saying that gay marriage will be legal in every state over the next four years because Obama is just one man but i will say that this election definitely gave me hope that things will head in the right direction for us.

What do you think will be the result for our community over the next four years?
